According to Tim (G5TM), one of the best multi-band HF ham radio antennas is the “classic” doublet. If you have the space to build a full-sized doublet, you will improve the performance of your portable and home station antenna system.
Tim discusses the pros and cons of this antenna, which uses a ladder line-feed, a suitable unun, and a wide range antenna “tuner.”
This antenna covers the 40 meter through 10 meter Amateur Radio Bands without major problems.

Here are some comments from Tim (G5TM):
At last I got to try an antenna for portable HF that I have always enjoyed using in a compromised position at home. This time I had the space to properly deploy a 66ft (20m) Doublet Antenna and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!
Join me as I put this classic multi-band antenna through its paces, whilst showing how I put it together and tuned it. As well as showing its on-air performance.
