Inverted V HF DX Antenna-From a Back Yard

One of the easiest HF DX antennas you can build is the “classic” inverted V dipole.  The antenna needs only one support and can be erected on a fairly small urban lot.

In this video, Peter Waters (G3OJV) discusses the pros and cons of this versatile HF antenna.  Multiband capability is reached by using a balanced feedline and a sturdy antenna “tuner.”

You can use this antenna for both portable and home station use.
